History of the School
Brief History of the School.
The School project was initiated by Dr.Kuldip Singh, who born and brought up in a village, got School education from a village School, did M.Sc, M.Phil (Physics), Doctorate in Education from USA and Chartered Physicist of Institute of Physics (UK). He has been with UNESCO and shifted to India to provide Education to his sons in our culture. During his stay at Ludhiana he analyzed the Rural Education and found that it is declining. By keeping one point in mind that many of his class mates who initially studied in village school are at high positions in USA / CANADA/European countries and some are with UNO, NASA, Microsoft and other MNCs, we must improve the rural Education
Dr. Singh discussed the problem with likeminded friends, some of them promised to support and in April 2000 a Charitable Trust named “Human and Education Development Council” was founded. The Trust was registered with Registrar and with Income Tax Department
Dr. Singh and his wife Mrs. Rupinder Kaur decided to contribute their wealth, brain and mind for the Noble cause. They decided to start a School of international standard in memory of youngest martyrdom “Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha” who had left the Berkeley University to work for freedom of the country.
By working extra hours Dr Singh and his wife found 2.25 acres of land at village Sarabha for the school. The land originally belongs to Shaheed Kartar Singh. Dr. Singh had gone from village to village to explain the values of right education and the School was started in April 2002 up to Grade 6th with almost all modern facilities ( composite Science lab, Library with more than 3000 volumes, computer lab with 15 computer with LAN and Internet facility) and with more than 300 students.
